A layered database
CaddieAPI separates source-derived Directory facts from web-derived Intelligence fields and internal-only rankings. API access does not transfer ownership of third-party source material or remove its licence conditions.
OpenStreetMap
Parts of club identity, course geometry and hole data are derived from OpenStreetMap contributors and are available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Public uses must attribute OpenStreetMap and comply with applicable database share-alike requirements.

Other public sources
Records may include compatible facts from Overture Maps and CC0 data from Wikidata. Source and confidence metadata are exposed where available. Rankings marked internal are not part of the resale API.
CaddieAPI Intelligence
Booking-system detections, technology fingerprints, crawl metadata and structured extractions are licensed for use according to your CaddieAPI plan. They must not be repackaged as a competing database or redistributed outside the purchased scope.
Need a database extract?
The self-service API is designed for live, scoped queries rather than bulk redistribution. Contact hello@caddieapi.com before creating or publishing a substantial database extract so the applicable source notices and licence terms can be handled correctly.
